Selling Step-by-Step:

1. Register to Sell

We are so excited to have you join the JBF Allentown community - over 1,000 Lehigh Valley families sell with us each season.
Consignor perks:
- Earnings: make 60% of your sales (or 70% if you help at the sale for four hours) & prepay a $13 seller fee
- Early Shopping: consignors shop the regular presale + the 50% off presale for free (see schedule for shopping times)
- Community Involvement: Together, we help local families say "yes!" to all the things their kids need (& want!) at prices they can afford. Choose to donate your items after the sale to give back to local families in need.
Once registered on the JBF Tagging Website, complete Step 2 -
at the link below you will prepay your $13 seller fee, select your time to drop off your items & complete the digital consignor waiver.
*Note that you are not fully registered to sell until you have completed both steps 1 & 2!

2. Gather


Check all over your home to gather the items your kids have outgrown!
View the Acceptable Items List (linked below) to know what to sell & what to keep at home. This list also contains item limits. JBF Allentown is a seasonal sale & we accept items geared toward the upcoming season.

You will need a few basic supplies to get started! Add these to your next grocery pickup order, swing by the Dollar Tree, or order from Amazon and have shipped to your door!
Hangers
- plastic or wire... any type of hangers will do! Save these from previous purchases, ask friends/family (or stores like Kohls/Old Navy who may throw them away) or purchase at Walmart, Target or the Dollar Store

Car Seats & Cribs
All car seats must include the manual and the JBF Car Seat Waiver. If you no longer have the manual, you may reprint it from the manufacturer's website. Print the Car Seat Waiver from the link below. You need the manual and waiver for EACH piece of the car seat (i.e. the base and the seat need separate manuals/waivers).
All cribs need to include the JBF Crib Waiver. Print the waiver at the link below!
3. Prep Your Items

4. Create + Print Tags

We recommend pricing at 1/3 of retail.
Use shopper-focused pricing! Ask yourself, "What would make me grab this deal without hesitation AND brag about my bargain to my friends?"

Items that are too large for a shopper to carry around during the sale require a special "claim ticket" in addition to the regular JBF price tag.
This allows shoppers to "claim" the item and leave it on the sales floor, and then pick it up when they are finished shopping.
- Download the claim ticket file below. Print on white cardstock paper.
- Follow the directions below to attach claim ticket to your item.

Examples of Items That Require a Claim Ticket:

Pack n plays, bassinets
Ride on toys, push walkers
Jumparoos, swings
Large sporting equipment (soccer goals, balance beams)
Kitchens, tool benches
Bikes, water tables
Toy storage, easels
Vanities & kids furniture
Baby bathtubs, high chairs
**and any item too large to fit into an Ikea bag
5. Join the Team!

Team members shop earlier & earn more!
4-hour team members earn 70% of sales and a 4-hour presale pass
8-hour team members earn 70%, receive a $30 bonus in their consignor check, and an 8-hour presale pass

All team members must be selling at the sale. To select a shift, use the link below to log in to your JBF profile, click the "Help at the Sale" button and check the "team member" box. Select your shift(s) and your presale pass and then save!
6. Drop Off & Shopping Details

An appointment is REQUIRED for drop off. Make an appointment at the link below!
Drop off tips!
✔️ If possible, leave the kiddos at home (drop off will get very busy at times)
✔️ Organize your clothing items by size and gender prior to dropping off (note clothing signs are WHOLE sizes such as 3mo, 6mo, etc. If you have an item with a size range like 3-6mo, it will go under the SMALLER number... 3mo in this example).
✔️ Organize non-clothing items by type (i.e. books, toys, etc.). The more organized you are, the faster drop off will go!
✔️ Have your crib and car seat waivers completed prior to coming to drop off (if applicable). Note that each piece of the car seat needs a separate waiver and manual (i.e. the base and car seat each needs a waiver and manual).
Drop off steps:
- Bring your drop off appointment confirmation (either printed or on your mobile device) & check-in at the welcome desk.
- Take a rolling rack or push cart back out to your car, load up your items and bring them inside (if you arrive at a busy time, you may have to wait for a rolling rack or cart. You are welcome to bring your own cart or wagon if you have one!).
- Place items where they belong on the sales floor. Inspection of your items occurs after drop off. Rejected items NOT marked for donate will be returned to you at the end of the sale. Rejected items marked for donate will be automatically donated.
- Check out to receive your shopping passes!
Clothing Drop Off Process:
- To help with the stability of our racks, we will be requiring clothing to be placed on the BOTTOM rail FIRST. Once the bottom racks are full we will allow drop off to the top rails
- Consignors will be dropping off to the appropriate size & gender AND consignor letter. If you are consignor number A-123-abd, you will go to the size and gender (i.e. girls 2T) and then look for the "A" letter and place your items behind the A.
Drop off FAQs!
❓ When is the tagging cut off? - There isn't one! You can tag all year round and right up until drop off. Tags are valid for two years.
❓ What time is drop off over? - 9pm!
❓ Can I bring my kids to drop off? - Yes, however keep in mind it can get very busy at times. Consider leaving your kids at home if you are able to!
❓ Can I make multiple trips? Yes! Please bring the majority of your items during your scheduled drop off time. If you need to make another trip to bring large items or other small items, that is fine!
❓ I am dropping off for a friend... do they need an appointment too? - Yes! Every consignor needs a drop off appointment. This is how we know your consignor fee was paid and your waiver/agreement was completed.
🆕New This Season: Two Drop-Off Rounds = More Room to Sell + First Dibs on Restocked Deals!
We’re officially maxed out during initial drop-off—so to grow the sale (without overcrowding), we’re doing two waves of drop-off and adding an extra day of shopping to the schedule!
Here’s how it works:
- We will stock the sales floor with our first round of drop offs
- We will open up shopping for team members & paid presales
- **NEW - We will restock with fresh inventory from a second wave of 200+ sellers during Round 2 Drop Off
After restock → ALL consignors shop the restocked inventory first—after restocking and before public shopping begins
What does this mean for you?
More consignor spots. First access to refreshed inventory. More time to shop.
This is our way of growing the sale (and allowing even more Lehigh Valley families to shop & sell) without growing the chaos—and we’re excited to have you be part of it!

Shopping Info!
One of the biggest perks of selling with JBF is that you get to shop BEFORE we open to the public during the regular presale AND the half-price presale!
Check the schedule above for your shopping time! You will receive a paper shopping pass at drop off for your team member or consignor shopping time. We will also have a list of names at the door to ensure you are shopping at the correct time.
You may bring your significant other along with you to shop and they do not need a ticket. Any other guests would need to use your GUEST PASS (see guest pass details below).
Consignors get UNLIMITED RE-ENTRY during any public shopping times! Feel free to come back during any of the public shopping days. We'll check your name on the consignor list at the door and you get in free!
Guest Passes: You will receive a guest pass at consignor drop off. You can hand this directly to your guest, or you can write their name on it and leave it for them at the welcome desk. Guests shop during the CONSIGNOR shopping time (guest passes are not valid for the team member shopping time). Please make sure your guest knows the presales are adults-only!
